2022 Holiday Gift Guide

Ideas for the Whole Fam!

‘Tis the season! As the holidays are upon us, so is a time of gift-giving. If you’re in need of some new ideas for what to get that hard-to-shop-for person, look no further. I’ve pulled together a list of some of our favorite every-day products and other goodies that we’ve enjoyed recently in hopes that they may inspire you as well. None of these are affiliate links, just simply passing on ideas in case they might be helpful to you! Click on the linked titles below to be taken right to the items.

Ideas for Kids:

  • ‘You Choose’ book - My toddler can’t get enough of this book. She requests to read it multiple times a day and loves to choose something different each time! I believe there are a few different ones in the series.

  • Kids hammock - great for outdoor or even indoor use, this hammock is perfect for kids, and can even be attached underneath a loft bed or the ‘Kura” bed from Ikea!

  • Art portfolio - If you’re looking for a way to organize all the art pieces your child brings home from school, keep it all organized in one place like an art portfolio that you can look back on over the years.

  • Travel tray - for long road trips or even indoor use when your child needs a surface to draw on; this travel desk is a life-saver for keeping them occupied with their fun art projects or whatever they may need a table for.

  • Memberships - one of my favorite types of gifts to give is an experience gift! Buying a pass or membership to one of their favorite places (i.e. zoo, water park, science museum, etc) is a wonderful way to get them outside the house and to explore something new and exciting that they can revisit whenever they’d like.

  • Picasso tiles - these are so fun and versatile, the possibilities to create are endless.

  • Melissa & Doug toys - this company builds quality educational toys that are always a hit! With a focus on developing fine motor and problem solving skills; these toys are more than just something fun to play with, and I appreciate that about these ones in particular.

  • Toniebox - if you’re looking for some screen-free options for your kiddos, check out the Toniebox! It’s a portable machine that has narrated audiobooks and songs, allows for headphones, and is sure to be a hit with kids young and old. You can purchase various “Tonies” to go on top which serve as different character experiences.

Ideas for Mom:

  • Straws - As silly as it sounds, even something as simple as a set of reusable straws is a practical and useful gift. These flexible silicone straws are easy to clean, don’t hurt your mouth, and fit perfectly in the ‘Stanley’ water bottle!

  • Make up organizer - minimizing the chaos of a bathroom counter can be quite helpful for anyone trying to organize all their products in one place. Making it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for, it makes grabbing items on the go much simpler.

  • Food chopper - I can’t tell you how much time is saved from using this chopper. I used to dread chopping veggies, but this things makes it IMMENSELY easier and quicker. Plus, all the parts are dishwasher safe. (Can I get an ‘Amen’?) There are a ton of options out there, but I especially love this one.

  • Back/neck massager - If you’re a parent, you need this. Enough said. :-P

  • Eye massager - strange sounding, I know. But if you suffer from the occasional tension headache or eye strain from screen time, this massager works wonders. It has modes for massage/pressure, heat, and music. It also works great if you turn it around and use on the back of your head/neck.

  • Satin pillow case - Ever since switching to a satin pillow case, my skin and hair texture have improved, and I get better sleep overall. No joke. I love the cooling effect, and I look forward to using it every night.

  • Hair finishing stick - Think hairspray…in a wand. Trust me on this one. This thing is amazing for those pesky fly-aways. It just WORKS.

  • Gift card : While far from an original idea, sometimes it’s just easier to let someone pick out what they want. Here are a few of my favorite places to shop that would make for great gift card options: Primally Pure, Crunchi, Peet’s, Starbucks, Olive & June, and of course you can never go wrong with…Target.

Ideas for Dad:

There you have it. Let me know what other gift ideas you would add to the list! Thanks for reading, and happy gifting!
